Since 1984 Tejas Taxidermist has been operating as a premier taxidermist in the north Houston area to suit your every wildlife artistry need.

As a young boy, Owner and Taxidermist Robert Sweisthal, or as his friends call him, Bob, began working in the field of taxidermy and more recently has developed a passion for other art mediums. Using his experience, artistic skills, and a combination of old mounting techniques and modern taxidermy innovations Bob produces wildlife preservations that are sure to dazzle and impress for years to come.

Bob has won numerous taxidermy and art awards at both the state and national levels.
He personally strives to ensure that to the customer's eye there is no difference between his commercial work and his award winning competition pieces.
